Position Summary
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications, the Digital Marketing Specialist will contribute to PRIM&R’s overall marketing and communication plan and efforts, with particular focus on website maintenance, visual identity, and design.
What you’ll do:

Build, automate and deploy email campaigns that drive membership and program sales with new/repeat visitors to the website.
Identify target audiences and grow email lists.
Manage campaign reporting and analysis to ensure sales, traffic and brand KPIs are met.
Report on sales revenue generated from email marketing efforts.
Ensure emails follow industry policies and best practices.
Perform SEO audits, write and contribute to organic traffic growth. Sources and develops engaging content for owned channels, including blog, site, and social through influencers, scientific researchers, partnerships and more.
Contribute to the development and implementation of PRIM&R’s editorial calendar and program-specific marketing plans for email, web, social media, blog, etc.
Develop, write, edit, and design PRIM&R marketing ads, emails, blog posts, event materials, etc.

  What we’re looking for:

Knowledge/experience in digital marketing, email platforms and email analytics
Proven ability to launch successful email campaigns
Software: Microsoft suite, Adobe Creative Suite, Salesforce, Higher Logic/Real Magnet, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Google Analytics/Tag Manager  
Management: Must be able to effectively manage projects and competing deadlines
Communication: Must have strong writing/editing skills and strong attention to detail, and be able to flexibly and diplomatically work across programs with a variety of staff
Requires an understanding of current and upcoming trends in marketing/communications and design, particularly for associations and nonprofits
Familiarity with HTML/CSS and web best practice (usability, SEO, design, etc.)

Relationships :

Internal: Works closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications and the Marketing and Communications Coordinator and Assistant. Must communicate regularly with all other department staff to create marketing content and design projects.
External: Works with vendors including for web, blog, email marketing, PRIM&R’s Career Center, promotional and print materials, external ads.

Salary & Benefits: The starting salary for this position is $70,000. PRIM&R offers a full benefits package, including medical, dental, 401k, generous paid time off, flexible work schedule, summer hours, commuter and home office equipment support, and professional development support. PRIM&R offers a hybrid work environment.
Travel : All PRIM&R staff are required to travel to the Annual Conference and to the office, on a schedule to be determined.
