Fort Worth, Texas, Job Summary: The Marketing & Content Specialist strategically utilizes a variety of marketing tools to advance the TCU brand, messaging and visibility among key audiences in alignment with the University’s strategic plan and goals. The Specialist’s primary role is to assist in developing, implementing, and optimizing reputation-defining tactics and tracking KPIs. Areas of focus include marketing and analytics, content creation and strategy, and project management. As an integral member of the University Marketing team, the Specialist also serves on committees and as the marketing liaison to various divisions, departments, and external constituents. Duties & Essential Job Functions: 1. Contributes to the development of integrated marketing and communications plans for assigned units to advance their goals; work may include data collection, market research, media buying, target market definition, development of project timelines, and crafting messaging platforms. 2. Supports marketing-related initiatives such as email drip campaigns and environmental graphic messaging. 3. Helps develop, build, and optimize digital campaigns to drive engagement and conversions via digital advertising, SEM, SEO, paid social media, and other audience-appropriate tactics.

4. Ensures KPIs are tracked against goals and reviewed; assists with creating campaign performance reports. 5. Performs regular research on marketing trends, emerging technologies, and target audiences. 6. Collaborates with the website management team and Director of Marketing to implement conversion tracking on campaigns and corresponding web properties. 7. Creates high-quality, targeted, and coordinated marketing messaging rooted in the University’s strategic priorities; continually integrates and expresses the TCU brand identity across multiple platforms. 8. Serves as a member of the Content Strategy Core Group and contributes to the development and distribution of key brand messages and content that aligns with short-term and long-term marketing goals.

9. Collaborates with the Director of Marketing and the website management team on digital content strategy initiatives to improve the TCU. edu user experience. 10. Supports and executes projects related to content marketing and SEO, including generating SEO recommendations/plans and working with the website management team to implement best practices. 11. Serves as the project lead and marketing counsel for assigned units, liaising with the web and graphic design teams to execute projects and achieve goals. 12. Facilitates external branding, filming, and photography requests. 13.

Works with the Project Manager and within the project management system to ensure on-time delivery. 14. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Education & Experience : • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, public relations, communications or relevant field of study and three years of relevant work experience; OR • High School Diploma and 7 years of relevant work experience. Preferred Education & Experience: • Experience in a higher education setting or a digital marketing agency. Required Licensure/Certification/Specialized Training: • None. Preferred Licensure, Certification, and/or Specialized Training: • Google Analytics certification. • Google Ads certification. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Ability to deploy and track marketing tactics to drive conversions and audience engagement. • Skill in SEO, paid search, and digital media planning.

• Skill in the use of Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Data Studio and familiarity with other digital analytics tools (e. g. , Moz, SEMRush, Brightedge, etc. ). • Ability to interpret and use data to inform marketing decisions. • Knowledge of content marketing tactics and branding principles. • Ability to use customer management systems (CMS) and email marketing or automation platforms (such as Emma, MailChimp, Constant Contact). • Skill in writing and editing—including knowledge of AP style—as well as the ability to “write to an audience” and adopt the style, tone, and voice of TCU’s various content types. • Skill in project management with the ability to work across multiple divisions and on multiple projects. • Ability to confidently recommend creative approaches and solutions to problems.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements (With or Without Accommodations): • Visual acuity to read information from computer screens, forms and other printed materials and information. • Able to speak (enunciate) clearly in conversation and general communication. • Hearing ability for verbal communication/conversation/responses via telephone, telephone systems, and face-to-face interactions. • Manual dexterity for typing, writing, standing and reaching, flexibility, body movement for bending, crouching, walking, kneeling and prolonged sitting. • Lifting and moving objects and equipment up to 10 lbs. Work Environment: • Work is indoors and sedentary and is subject to schedule changes and/or variable work hours. • There are no harmful environmental conditions present for this job. • The noise level in this work environment is usually moderate.
