Yuma, Arizona, Position Summary The Marketing Specialist is responsible for supporting marketing and communication initiatives and activities across the organization. Support and assist the marketing team to implement marketing strategies aligned with organizational goals. Works on a variety of marketing and communication projects including marketing materials, advertising, branding/signage, internal and external communications, public relations, special events, written content and physician marketing. Professionally and effectively maintains positive relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including YRMC leaders and departments, industry partners and community groups. The marketing specialist should be highly organized, detail oriented, with excellent project management skills. Ability to prioritize, multitask and work under short deadlines is essential. Primary Accountability Primary Accountability Works closely with the director and marketing strategist to implement marketing and communication plans that support organizational goals and initiatives. Helps ensure project timelines are met. Provides support in the development of collateral materials (flyers, brochures), letter writing, Power Point presentations, video creation, social media and ad creation while maintaining corporate brand standards. Supports media/public relations by identifying, sourcing and collecting valuable content to positively position YRMC in public perception.

Helps coordinate media production, including photography and video shoots. Provides support by writing outlines and scripts for production. Provides overall support for department activities including special events, community outreach and speakers programs. Represent community relations on internal committees. Other duties as assigned. Ideal candidate should have: Strong customer service skills Ability to maintain strong sense of confidentiality. Experience successfully collaborating with others. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Minimum Education Required : Associates degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred in communications, marketing, journalism or similar field of study. Minimum Experience Required : 3+ years of related experience.

Healthcare experience preferred. Work Schedule: 8-hours, Days, Monday through Friday Physical Requirements and working conditions for this position will be provided to you upon interview.
