Position Number: 02337320 Introduction (Description of School/College/Dept/Program) Job Summary This position will prepare, manage, and implement the overall marketing and communications strategies for UWM Dining and Retail Services, including Residential Dining, the Anytime Dining Plan, Retail Dining, UWM GRIND coffee shops, UWM convenience stores, On-Campus Vending, UWM Panther Shop, UWM Catering and the UWM Panther Card Office in service to the marketing and communications strategies of the Division of Student Affairs. Through planning, implementation, and assessment of best practices in the marketing, higher education, and collegiate food services industries, this position also contributes leadership to a dynamic, learning organization committed to the development of all members of our community. Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications :

Associate degree or higher in Communications, Language Arts, Marketing, Applied Business, related field, or commensurate experience
1 year of professional experience in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office products

Preferred Qualifications Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Language Arts, Marketing, Applied Business, or related field
1 or more years of experience in a student life/student support position
1 or more years of experience supervising staff
Experience providing student or part time staff mentorship
Demonstrated experience with specialized software used in marketing and communications efforts
Familiarity with WordPress
