The Marketing Specialist will assist the Associate Director of International Marketing in executing strategies and tactics for client groups, target audiences and markets. The primary objective is to increase awareness and acquisition of international patients living in LA and in target international areas (in particular, Mexico/LATAM, China and the Gulf Cooperation Council Countries). Primary duties include: Assisting Associate International Marketing Director in developing marketing objectives, strategies and tactics for priority clinical areas, target audiences and markets. Creating a defined list of collateral assets, identifying needs and working with multiple entities to review, update, design, and translate Coordinating with ad agency on campaign execution including messaging, asset development, and distribution Coordinating events management, including webinars, exhibitions and tradeshows Performing market research, identify key trends and opportunities to develop metrics and analytical reports Assist Associate Director of International Marketing in maintaining social media presence and tracking global Marcom activities Assist Associate Director of International Marketing in managing web development and improvement Serving as primary user of MarComm’s project management tool Participating in and coordinating (and when appropriate, leading) marketing meetings for assigned areas Assisting Associate International Marketing Director in writing briefs, defining project scope, goals and deliverables Assisting Associate International Marketing Director in tracking project progress and writing wrap-up reports Conducting project postmortems, identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements Leading, coordinating and executing projects as assigned by management: manage project lists, deliverables, timelines Requirements: Bachelors Degree in Communications, Public Health, Marketing or Business Administration required. Three (3) years’ of progressive work experience required, preferably in a healthcare or agency environment, with a solid understanding of business administration. Experience/Skills we are seeking: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary to work with all levels within the organization to influence end results. The ability to coordinate and lead multiple complex projects with limited supervision is required to be successful in this role. Extensive knowledge in database applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Excellent data organization skills, ability to organize, prioritize and perform multiple and complex assignments/projects with limited supervision Project Management experience with the demonstrated ability to initiate, plan, design, execute, and monitor projects Event management experience Multilingual preferred.
