Marketing Specialist | Lehigh University

PA, Responsible for providing support to undergraduate recruitment marketing efforts, and focus on email marketing, CRM management, social media strategy and execution and writing. The position will also support other initiatives in admissions marketing, including print, web, photo, video and visitor experience projects. Social Media Marketing *Plan and execute social media strategies on multiple platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Snapchat, TikTok and emerging platforms *Create strategy, copy and design for social media ads *Create social media content targeted at prospective students, families and school counselors *Utilize programs including Adobe Rush and Canva to produce social media content *Identify and present emerging social media trends, and applicable ways to utilize 2. Email Marketing and Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
* Develop and manage messaging strategy with Director of Undergraduate Recruitment Marketing and Admissions team to best communicate on- and off-campus events, marketing messages and operational messages to various audiences
* Research and write compelling email messages to reach prospective students *Utilize CRM capabilities to research and develop targeted messaging *Serve as liaison with design and web teams to create responsive-design email marketing messages 3. Marketing Analysis *Conduct tracking, analysis and reporting of social media and email statistics *Identify, evaluate and benchmark social media trends as well as emerging platforms *Create metric reports with recommendations for best practices moving forward *Research peer institutions and best practice cases to ensure competitive marketing for projects across a variety of mediums 4. Print, Web and Visitor Experience *Support Director in print, web, photography and video efforts *Help execute content strategy for Admissions projects including web, print, information sessions, tours, video and more *Assist in the implementation of strategic initiatives to enhance the experience of visitors with brand and directional signage, digital kiosks, print materials, social media integration, presentations and tour guides and presentation space Grade: 8 – 40 Position Number: S76440 Special Considerations This position is expected to work remotely while the campus remains in a limited capacity due to COVID-19: in the future this position may have the ability to work both from home and on campus as deemed appropriate by their supervisor Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience; Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred Three to five years related work experience Excellent computer skills with experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, social media platforms, presentation and advanced graphics software Ability to build, foster and maintain positive professional relationships Solid writing ability, attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to complete projects on time and report on status and progress Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and a high degree of initiative for bringing tasks to completion Successful completion of standard background checks including but not limited to: social security verification, education verification, national criminal background checks, motor vehicle checks, PATCH, FBI fingerprinting, Child Abuse Clearance and credit history based upon the requirements of the position Only complete applications will be considered therefore please complete the application in its entirety.   Once the posting is removed from the website applications may no longer be allowed to be completed.
