Summary: The Marketing Specialist will develop and support marketing, outreach, and communication strategies for further vision, brand, strategy and goals of National Network of Education Research Practice Partnerships (NNERPP). Essential Functions Develops and supports marketing, outreach and communications strategies to further the vision, brand, strategy and goals of National Network of Education Research Practice Partnerships (NNERPP) Executes effective marketing and communications plans that disseminate NNERPP research to broad and diverse audiences Collaborates with the NNERPP partners to ensure the effectiveness of the marketing, outreach and communication efforts as well as the usefulness of digital library Measures effectiveness of the current marketing, outreach, and communication efforts by collecting qualitative data such as surveys, opinion polls, or questionnaires regarding NNERPP and its knowledge sharing platforms, products, and seminars Analyzes metrics to gauge site activity, visitation, and program participation Monitors results using statistical reporting software such as IBM SPSS Modeler to gauge the impact of NNERPP’s marketing and communications efforts Creates graphic illustrations of data using Excel, Canvas, or Tableau and report to key stakeholders Identifies and implements advertising needs for increased participation of the Annual Forum Requirements Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in marketing, communications, or a related field AND completion of a University-level course, research project, internship, thesis, or dissertation OR Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in marketing, communications, or a related field AND one (1) year of experience involving the following skills: data analysis, including analysis of qualitative and quantitative data statistical software, such as spss developing and initiating new strategies Rice University is an Equal Opportunity Employer with commitment to diversity at all levels, and considers for employment qualified applicants without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, genetic information, disability or protected veteran status.
