The Executive Education (EE) Marketing Department at the Stanford Graduate School of Business has recently undergone an exciting transformation and seeks a Marketing Specialist to join this new team. This Marketing Specialist is responsible for launching direct response email campaigns to promote Stanford’s portfolio of product offerings (domestically and globally). This team has ownership and jurisdiction over paid and owned channels. The ideal candidate should have 2+ years experience working with email or in a CRM related role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to connect global professionals with Stanford EE 50+ programs that will enable them to learn, grow and impact change. This is a full-time position where work will be performed with the expectation of being onsite (at Stanford’s magical campus) and in a hybrid setting of at least 2 days per week.

Primary Responsibilities: Implement marketing plans and programs to meet business objectives. Marketing Execution. Project manage marketing projects from inception to execution. Email Journey Maintenance. Have a clear understanding of how email journeys are triggered, automate and innovate, and monitor the success. Ability to make data-driven decisions. This includes working with reporting platforms, excel and conducting data analysis. This includes evaluating competitors in industry and setting internal benchmarks for success. Email redesign. Engaging with partners in re-imagining Stanford EE direct response emails and upleveling.

Cross-functional collaboration with internal stakeholders, vendors and partners. Process and Solutions-Oriented. This includes identifying processes that do not exist today and creating one. Oversee design and production of marketing materials from inception to deployment. Maintain the legacy of excellence Stanford’s brand represents in the market today. Specific tasks include but are not limited to: Project and process management Creative briefs and kick-offs Implementation and execution of campaigns Analysis of campaign data Involved in conveying launch, creative, tracking, and budget details to agency for Internet Marketing campaigns. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the organization. To be successful in this position, you will bring: Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience, or combination of education and relevant experience. Ability to work independently to meet expected deadlines and schedules. Knowledge of marketing across channels.
