Partner Marketing Specialist | Rockwell Automation

, Job Description Position Summary: The Marketing Communications Specialist is responsible for the development and implementation of internal and external marketing programs related to the Rockwell Automation Partner Ecosystem in order to build awareness, drive adoption and generate revenue. The position requires a collaborative and very proactive individual that is experienced in working across a matrixed organization to drive integrated, impactful internal and external marketing communications. The Marketing Communications Specialist must possess strong communication and organizational skills, promotional and technical writing skills, business software proficiency, a base knowledge of Rockwell Automation products, solutions and services and an understanding of modern marketing strategies and applications. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: Relationship management: Develop strong, collaborative relationships with marketing functions within partner organizations to drive impactful marketing planning and execution within both organizations. Liaison to the regional marketing and market access leaders: Work with Regional Market Access and Marketing leads to understand and develop partner communication strategies, messaging and material that have local impact. Sales Enablement / Commercial Planning Support: Lead development and maintenance of partner content including: messaging, partner collateral and communications, sales enablement, success stories, as well as collaboration with the global Public Relations team for press and social media execution. Coordinate with the global portfolio, service and industry marketing teams for cohesive strategy with broader company initiatives. Commercial Events: Work with the Global Marketing and Communications team to manage and lead partner participation in key events such as Automation Fair, Rockwell Automation on the Move, PartnerNetwork Conference, and ROKLive. Collaborate with partner to position Rockwell Automation favorably within partner or other third party events as well. Budgeting: Establish and manage a marketing budget to support commercial marketing plan.

**For the right candidate, this position could be worked remotely from any location in the US Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree Legal authorization to work in the US is required. Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with Microsoft organization and potentially have partner background Bachelor of Arts or Science degree, or equivalent, in Marketing, Communications, English, Journalism or related field. Minimum of 5 years of related experience in industrial automation or equivalent B2B business Interpersonal / Relationship Management Strong written and verbal communication skills Base knowledge of Rockwell Automation market, products, solutions, and services. Additional knowledge or experience with Microsoft a plus.
